Kellie Draper, b.ed AAC
Kellie has studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical and Musical Theatre since the age of 10. Kellie trained and performed throughout Canada and the US growing up and had opportunities to perform in several professional shows on Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships through the Stars at Sea Program. More recently Kellie has travelled outside of Canada to take class at the Edge Performing Arts Centre and participate in Dance Teacher Conferences.
Kellie has been teaching for over 17 years and has received several awards for her choreography. Kellie holds a high standard for her students and works with each one individually to help them achieve their highest potential. With a background in Education, Kellie understands that all students learn in different ways and uses various tools and techniques to help her students be successful. Kellie participates in various workshops and seminars throughout the year to continue learning and growing as an instructor and a dancer.
Kellie believes that dance should be a positive and enjoyable experience and calls pHd her second family. She loves watching her students grow both as dancers and individuals and believes there is nothing more satisfying than seeing her students succeed both on and off the stage.
